Sub Junior

Our Sub Junior Program is the perfect introduction to dance for children in Kindergarten and Year 1. While we do offer Preschool classes, it is very common for  children to take their very first dance steps in Kindergarten, and we strive to make every class a fun, encouraging and confidence-building experience.

At this level, dancers develop coordination, musicality, creativity and strong foundational technique through engaging, age-appropriate classes.

We offer optional Pre-Primary and Primary RAD Ballet examinations or Class Awards, along with Glen Wood Tap Level 1 & 2 grading, providing wonderful milestones as dancers develop their skills. Examinations are a fantastic way to set achievable goals, build confidence and give children a genuine sense of accomplishment, celebrating their hard work and progress in a positive and encouraging environment.

To suit busy young dancers, we offer a combined Jazz, Lyrical and Acro class, allowing students to experience three exciting styles in one shorter class. It’s the perfect option for children who are new to dance or may find longer class schedules a little tiring, while still enjoying a broad and well-rounded dance education.
